Director's Biography

Born in Mashad in 1944, Ebrahim VahidZadeh graduated in Film Direction from the College of Dramatic Art in 1969. He collaborated with IRIB TV and has so far made 17 short and feature films for TV. In 1987 he directed the feature film the Snobs and the Statue is his second feature.

Synopsis: Mr. Baher's daughter is getting married. Mr. Baher who is an engineer facing financial problems first doesn't consent to the marriage but then thinking that this marriage could solve some of their financial problems, agrees and arranges a huge wedding, not knowing that the groom himself is not well off.
