To pay for the expense of his sister's medical treatment, a young man agrees to collaborate with a gang who smuggle valuable antiques out of the country. An occasion arises for the young man to earn the money required for the girl's medical expenses when a few pages of a 14th century manuscript of the Holy Koran are stolen from the collection of an expatriate Iranian living in London. The young man undertakes to retrieve the missing pages in return for a reward which may save his sister's life.
